Segment scrub search helps you save hours when it comes to looking for incidents. For information on how to use advanced search options see: Attribute Search and People Search with Faces, How to Use Motion Search, or How to Use Zone-Based Motion Search.
Step 1: Access your Search Tab
From your Spot AI Dashboard, choose Search from the top menu.
Step 2: Choose Your Camera
From the drop down menu on the right, select the camera or cameras that you'd like to search. While you can only actively search one camera at a time, you can choose up to four cameras to search and toggle through for ease of use.
Step 3: Select Your Clip Length and Time Frame
Directly under the camera view you can select the clip length you'd like to view. This, coupled with your date and time selection allows you to further narrow your search window to only the clips that may prove useful to your search. Once you've selected your clip length, and time frame from the pop up calendar, click Apply to view the footage that meets your criteria. If you selected multiple cameras in Step 2, you'll have individual tabs for each camera listed below Clip Segments.
Step 4: Scrub Through Your Footage
Hover over the found clips with your mouse and the frame will move based on where your cursor is and the time you're on. This makes it incredibly easy for your team to find relevant footage, and can save your team hours when trying to find something. If you'd like to watch the clip in full, simply click on it to load the clip in the full size viewing window.
Step 5: Save Your Footage
Once you found the clip, or clips in question, you can Download, Share, or Save it as needed. For instructions on how to use these options, please see: How to Download, Share, and Save Videos
