Segment scrub search helps you save hours when it comes to looking for incidents. To get started, go to your view page and click on the camera feed you want to scrub. Then scroll down until you see Search by Segments and footage that will be broken down.
You can scrub through this with your mouse and the frame will move based on where your cursor is and the time you're on. This makes it incredibly easy for your team to find relevant footage, and can save your team hours when trying to find something.
Example: If a tenant says they think two people wearing red might've stole their packages Wednesday at around 8pm - 10pm, you can easily set the Start and End times to focus in those time periods in the drop-down boxes.
Hover your mouse over the frames until you find the event that you're interested in. We can see that within a few seconds, we found two individuals wearing red versus watching the whole two hour video, and we know when they walked by.
You can then click on this clip to pull it up on the main view section!
Congratulations, you've learned how to use segment scrub search on Spot! 🙌
