TV shows like CSI have popularized the ability to zoom into recorded footage, and Spot gives every user CSI-esque abilities to zoom into live and historical video footage.
Below is a simple 3-step process to use digital zoom.
Step 1: When streaming any historical segment of video, you will see a digital zoom button - check image below.
Step 2: Click the zoom button, and you will get a zoom option with an ability to zoom in and out of the video footage.
[Please note: Digital zoom's clarity is limited by the resolution of the recorded video. For digital zoom, we always switch to the highest resolution of the recorded video]
Step 3: Use your mouse (left click and hold) to bring the required object in the center of the screen and zoom in using the above shown zoom option.
In this example, we want to zoom in on the name of the coffee shop at the end of this frame.
Voila! We have our CSI-esque digital zoom.
