Adding bulk users and setting up Single Sign-on (SSO) Integration

From the early days of Spot, we have made it incredibly easy to add multiple users for free. One can assign users access to specific cameras or specific features like sharing and access to historical videos.

Based on user feedback, we have made user addition and management (Role-based access control) even easier and they are amongst the best in enterprise camera software.

Ability to bulk-add users

Add multiple users by simply clicking the "Add multiple Users" at the top of the users table. You can simply input their names and emails or use our bulk CSV upload function to add tens of users in one go.

P.S.: Bulk addition by default gives users access to all cameras and features. Once users are added, you can simply double-click on the user whose permissions you want to modify and make the necessary changes.

Setting up Single Sign-On (SSO)

Many of our customers use Microsoft Office 365/Azure or Gmail Enterprise email or some form of enterprise login. Simply click on "Single Sign-On" link on the top right and then add your official domain name and the enterprise login provider. If your organization has multiple providers or domains, you can add all of them to Spot. We support multiple domains and providers.

Note: By default, you will see Google and Office 365/Azure as default providers in the drop-down. If you are using another provider, just reach out to support and we will get it set up for you. 

SAML Integration

We can do SAML integrations for SSO. The email of the users will need to be configured in both the Spot AI Dashboard and the SAML identity provider. Please contact Support to configure a SAML connection.

More information about users in the table

Many admins wanted to know when users have last logged in. We have surfaced this information on the user table page, providing information on the latest login, their login method, and their Spot user type i.e. Admin or user. By double-clicking on any user, you can see additional details and access settings for the said user.
