Adding New Users in Spot AI

In Spot AI, there is no limit on the number of users that can be added to your organization. Here are the steps to invite new users:

How to Add a User:

Step 1: Begin by navigating to the Spot AI Dashboard at https://dashboard.spotai.co.

Step 2: Once you're on the dashboard, find and click on the 'Configure' tab situated at the top of the page. This will lead you to the Users section.

Step 3: To initiate the process of adding a new user, click on the 'New User' button. Here, you will need to input all the necessary user information and select the desired access preferences.

Step 4: After you've filled out all the details, click 'Save' to finalize the user's profile.

Step 5: Following the completion of these steps, the new users will receive an email notification with a link to set up their password. Upon setting up their password, they will gain access to the dashboard's web interface.

Additional Information:

• When adding a new user, name and email address are mandatory fields.A phone number can optionally be added if the user would like to receive text alerts based on the site configuration.
• The system offers two types of roles: User and Admin. A 'User' role offers limited access to selected features of the dashboard, while an 'Admin' role provides complete access to all features and permissions, such as the ability to add additional users, groups, cameras, etc.

• The new user can also be added to specific groups. By default, they will be added to all groups. More information on groups can be found here.
• Under the 'Locations' section, you can choose the sites you'd like the user to have access to. Please note that if the user is assigned an 'Admin' role, they will automatically have access to all locations. For users with a 'User' role, select the 'Groups & Locations' field and tick the checkboxes for the sites they should have access to.
