Step 1: Choose Cameras
From the Spot Dashboard, click Maintain along the top menu bar, use the multi-select checkboxes on the left-hand side to select the cameras you need to bulk edit. You can change the settings for multiple cameras at the same or across multiple sites at once.
Step 2: Enable or Disable Features
Once the cameras are selected, on the right-hand side of the screen you’ll see two sections: AI Features and Camera Settings. Attribute Search and People Search are under AI Features. You can Disable All or Enable All to suit your needs. Once you’ve chosen, click Apply on the bottom right of the screen.
Search Enhancements
You can now search by these AI features as well. On the Maintain page, below your appliance tab, you’ll see a dropdown for AI Features. When selected, you’re able to select only cameras that have AI Features enabled or disabled.
Limitations
While the Basic search attributes (clothing and vehicle color) are available on both the Core and Pro license packages, Advanced search attributes (vehicle make and type), and people search with face are only available on the Pro package. More information on the packages is available here. In addition, only appliances that are sn6g or higher, and on firmware version 4.3.0 or higher are compatible with these features. The features must be opted-in via Configure > Settings for the organization, but can be individually disabled using this bulk edit process. Finally, to use people search with faces, you must consent to the legal clickthrough that comes up with the first use.
